Can I give you some critiques? Don't be affraid, they'll be nice! It's only to help you to improve.

You should have cleaned your lines better than that. The perspective of her head is really well done, however it's quite messy to see it properly. It looks like you've rushed a bit this part of the drawing, which is the most important according to me.

The shaddinds. And the colors you've used in general. It'd have make her really more pretty if you haven't chosen those agressive primary colors. You know how to shadde, I have no doubts, but you should try to draw with more smooth colors, and realistics ones. The background also looks like really forgotten. You have put color together and then, blur them all.

It's obvious that you know how to draw. The lines show it -even is they're rushed- that you can handle greatly your tablet or mouse. But I think you should know better the medium, next time, before drawing in a two stars room.

I hope I haven't been too rude! I just tried to help you. In fact, you can forget all I've written. It's up to you =) Never give up! You have talent ^-^

No no, your comments are fine. IN fact, I do need to touch up the lines. As for the shading, it was intentional. I have used the smooth style but I wanted this to be very dramatic. I wanted teh primaries to scream out at the top of their lungs. The title says it all. 'Desperate times, Desperate Measures'. I wanted a sort of unease to come upon the viewer. When I get the time I will fix the line art...probably tomorrow. Thanks alot though, you were really helpful. ^_^!

this was possibly the MOST aggrivating piece i have EVER done therefore the coloring is crap, though i'm rather fond of the lineart.
you may ask why is she standing on a wood floor in front of mountains? it's supposed to be a studio...for a shoot...with a backdrop. whatevs. also i know her waist is rediculously skinny, it's because she's wearing a real corset. okay i think i'm done.

I agree with Ine. I like how this looks like a setting :3 where it's a cardboard background, and wood floors, but try adding woodgrain / detailing to the floors if you wish to make it like that. :3 great anatomy and pose and coloring on the girl though, and those shoes are sexy.

I'm suprised this doesn't have more comments! There's great detail, and I love the outfit (especially the shirt). The hair is so cool, and it's neat how the bg is greyscale. The only crit I have is that HER right upper arm is too long for the lower part of it. Other than that, wonderful!

wonderful picture ^_^ I love how you colored her hair and the lineart is scrumptious!

Her left eye that is hidden by her hair is too far left. You corrected the nose but not the eye. Her bikini bottoms look odd... I don't know why. Also her left breast the line is too harsh and the nipple slightly off.

Nice job with the perspective on her arms, the shadows hightlights and goo too ^_^ a nice anime cell shading ^_^

PS- how'd you get the lineart so smooth?

i think the bikinibottom looks allright, but the left (our left) part of the stomache is jutting out abit to far. (look in the mirror, when the curve of the back is so strong, the otherside is turned away. the hipbone shouldnt be so prominent)
i like the breasts :) they look natural but if you want to, the nipple could be pointing upwards some more. when the arms are streched back like that, the breasts follow.

Other than that, is a great picutre!! lovely facial expression, great hair and shading. and a fitting pic for the theme!! (other than the usual topless girl sitting on a towel :D )

somehow then I read "next week theme: cars" I got the idea to draw old car. Not that "classic" shiney cars of 196x, but something of much earlier period. ;)

wow the lighting is superb, the shadeing and the line quality so good <33 love the butterfly xD the only thing that bothers me tho.. is the size of his head it looks really good but just that it doesnt fit his body. it seems too small for the width of his shoulders. generally (this is what i've learned) the head length should be the same as the width of the shoulders. like.. if you were to place the head horizontal it would be the same length as the shoulders. but maybe i'm wrong.. i dont know <3 but i will say that this picture is lovely, and the hair looks soo smooth <3 great picture.

oh oh .. I love the little butterfly, and the the lil details in the frame and his haircut!

And welll his head is a little to small though, if you take his head, and would place it again right under, it should go down to the height of his nipples. Maybe even a bit lower in Manga/anime.

For the anatomy though, I think you like twisten some axes in the wrong directions, Like his right shoulder (his left) makes it look like he's leaning to the left, but then his other shoulder shows it the other way around.
It's like pushed towards "the camera" right now, instead of away from it, like it should do with his arm like that.

Sides that I love this piccy though, but his shoulders just look funny. Cuz everything else seems to match up if you like think them away of cover them up.

Love the soft, warm colors! Kind of surrealist, but very sweet and nice! The first thought I had was that it reminded me of loish's oekaki work (loish.net, or loish.deviantart.com I think), and that's a good thing!

This is a pretty good pic. some things to work on would besetting her eyes in the middle of her head and for a underwater effect to add light dapples that highlight the brightestlight that gets through the waves.

hehehe, typical office fantasy - "i hope my secretary is cute!!" I like her design, but your lines may benefit from varying the thickness of them, to add variation, and your coloring seems a little rushed.
